Prototype Insight - Nickel

A very special prototype trumpet that is clad in nickel-silver. This trumpet has a 140mm diameter bell made from nickel-silver, a rare alloy used in early 20th century German rotary trumpets. This alloy is incredibly difficult to work with, but offers exceptional projection and clarity, even with such a large diameter. The reverse leadpipe setup compliments the large-diameter bell to produce a free-blowing instrument perfect for soloists.
